The Case of the Seven Reflections: A Fairy Detective Optics Mystery
This is a little game I made that teaches mirror optics. In it, you play a fairy detective who has been asked to figure out who stole a giant emerald from the seven dwarves. (Based on Grimm’s Snow White, but I changed the names to make sure I don’t step on Disney’s toes.)

How to Play
The game is an HTML file that you download and then open with your browser. It’s playable on any laptop or desktop computer. (Not phones or tablets currently.)
It’s a text-based game, where you read a story and make different choices, going down different story paths to multiple endings.
Content Covered
Properties of convex, concave, and plane mirrors.
Everything is explained from the beginning, you don’t need to bring in any outside knowledge.
What the Game Includes
Players can use actual mirrors (bring a spoon and a hand mirror when you play!) to understand the properties of mirrors.
(I love spoons because they have a concave mirror on one side, a convex mirror on the other, and they’re easy to come by!)
Once you’ve interrogated the seven dwarves and the queen, you put their testimonies together in a little logic puzzle, using your new knowledge of mirrors.
